We’ve got MOVIE SIGN!

Tessa Dare is a wonderful author of Romance Novels. In my spare time between feeding, watering, and cleaning birds, and setting up nest boxes, I also write romance novels. Mine are light reads, I think. Nothing that would cause anyone to stop and ponder life. But Ms. Dare did mention in a talk I heard that when she doesn’t have time to write a blog post, she just links to her favorite cute cat videos.

I’ve got a bunch of deadlines staring at me right now, so I am going to throw some links at you, and hope you understand.

I have been a big fan of Marni the Indian Ringneck, and even more so since getting my very own IRN.

Wild birds are always a joy to watch, especially when trying to figure out something they don’t see every day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg7nidBpm5A

This Amazon is a good talker. At about 2:25 he goes toward the camera, which I persume is held by the lady’s husband. Mike sees this threat behavior all the time. Why do people repeat what their birds say? And we don’t really get to see the bird go crazy. Still, it’s fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Wfql5O8MVs

A double yellow Amazon like mine, but female and very sweet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb2AZun_52A

These adorable budgies like to bathe and perch on the camera! My lovebird Jake insists that my hand stay in the sink when he baths. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2izSkOvDH3o&feature=share

And after bath time, it’s bed time. G’night, Pedro! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk6bNG4WMHc&feature=share

Conures aren’t the best talkers in the parrot family, but this blue crown is awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o38YAtTCHZk

This one is just adorable, and a few good tips on teaching tricks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zofjk3wKzBI

Cockatoos have a natural ability to stick to the beat, but this guy gets points for style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTl1asCDOgs

Pierre the African Grey may be my new favorite talking bird video, crickets and all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNmIrmEBVY4

But I have to close with my favorite, my own Maynard attacking the hair dryer.

Wow, I didn’t realize how noisy my house is in the video. Thanks for reading and watching. I’ll be back on Thursday.
