Mankind has been the worst thing to happen to Planet Earth. As events come and go, we see the situations that we can recover from, and those we and the planet cannot. Eggscitement
Happy Easter! I love that there’s a day when it is appropriate to celebrate eggs. I know, many of you celebrate other things on this day, and that’s fine. But the promise of rebirth is a little different in my world. I long to see the next generation of zebra finches, society finches, and button quail who promise to keep the flock alive and healthy. Daily Routines Inside — The Office
I have no birds in my living room right now. I can vacuum the floor and the carpet stays mostly clean for weeks. I still need to get the spare room cleaned up from the finches that boarded there, and the bird room could use more love, but overall I feel much better and less stress. Bird Club Outreach
I have been a member of North County Aviculturists for something like 15 years. I took a couple years off over disagreements about members that we knew had too many birds but no one did an intervention. I’m over it. I can only hope and pray everyone knows their own limitations and that we don’t have another situation where someone passes away and we have to call in volunteers to feed, water, and rehome 104 large parrots.
