Conserve Habitats

Let us grant the benefit of the doubt to those people who believe things totally different than what we believe. We assume, therefore, the people cutting down the rain forests don’t see another way to make a living or build a road. The villagers who cut down palm trees for religious observances are devoted and believe this is the right thing to do. And the businesses that drain wetlands and put pipelines through delicate prairies are just doing their job.

Mice Eradication, Round 2

Poison is often the only thing that works on pests. I use Avian Insect Liquidator with excellent results against ants. I use a potent gel bait, Advion, against roaches. And I use d-CON bait stations for mice. We have little trouble with ants these days, the roaches are at a minimum, but the mice come and go around my ability to keep up with the bait stations.

A Turaco in the House

A turaco is a bird from Western Africa. If you search Pinterest for Guinea, you will probably see some of the many species of this beautiful creature. Turaco feathers are special because they do something different than other bird feathers.
